By May 20, localities nationwide had completed preparations for the elections of deputies to the 13 th National Assembly and People’s Council at all levels for the 2011-2016 term. 

Voters nationwide eagerly anticipate going to the polls to elect moral, talented and deserving deputies to represent the will and aspirations of the people and their right to mastery in the legislative body and People’s Councils.  

A total of 4,757,638 voters are expected to cast their ballots in Ho Chi Minh City to elect deputies for the National Assembly and People’s Council at all levels for the 2011-16 term. 

A welcoming atmosphere pervades every street and road of the capital city.

Early elections of deputies to the 13th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term were held in many remote mountainous areas on May 19, three days earlier than the official day of elections nationwide.

More than 4.7 million voters are expected to cast their ballots in Hanoi to elect deputies for the National Assembly and People’s Council at all levels for the 2011-16 term. 

The National Assembly is the top legislative body that gives vital strength to the nation.

Preparations for the upcoming election on May 22 are completed, said Tran Huu Thang, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, at an online conference in Hanoi on May 16.

A total of 1,080 voters cast their votes for the 13th National Assembly and people’s councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term at constituency 9, off the coast of southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, on May 16, six days earlier than the national election date of May 22.

Voters on islands of Truong Sa (Spratly) district of the central province of Khanh Hoa on May 15 morning cast their ballots to elect deputies to the 13th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term.
