VOV.VN - The third edition of Ho Chi Minh City River Festival will be postponed till 2026 to allow more time for preparations, the municipal Department of Tourism announced.

VOV.VN - The 2024 Ho Chi Minh City River Festival, the second of its kind, will receive two awards in the event category at the 22nd International Business Awards (IBA) 2025 ceremony which is scheduled to take place in Portugal on October 10.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committee of the central province of Quang Tri on August 11 organised an artistic programme at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Special Historical Site and the Thach Han River lantern wharf to honour fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for national liberation and freedom and deliver a message on the desire for peace.

The Red River Festival 2024 will be held from September to November in Lao Cai province, with invitations to Yunnan province, China, and provinces along the river in Vietnam.

The second Ho Chi Minh City River Festival 2024 will be organised with collaboration and support from numerous local units and businesses, as well as many localities nationwide, featuring a wide range of culture, cuisine, and entertainment activities, according to Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Dung.

The second Ho Chi Minh City River Festival 2024 will take place from May 31 to June 9, at Nha Rong-Khanh Hoi Wharf, Saigon Cruise Port, and other tourist venues, featuring a wide range of culture, cuisine, and entertainment activities.
