A high-ranking delegation led by Party General Secretary To Lam paid solemn tributes to President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang in Ho Chi Minh City on April 29, one day before the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30).

Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Tam met on April 28 with Zhu Wei, Deputy Director of the Guangdong provincial Development and Reform Commission, and a delegation from the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Office in a bid to deepen economic and trade ties.
