Hanoi has completed preparations for the city’s 17th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure, said Vice Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Dao Duc Toan at a press briefing on October 6.

The 11th Congress of the Army’s Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 term concluded on September 30 after four days of working.

Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong on September 21 chaired a working session between the Politburo and the standing board of the Central Public Security Party Committee to collect feedback on draft documents and personnel work for submission to the seventh Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation.
