Agro-forestry-fishery exports exceed US$52 billion in nine months
VOV.VN -Vietnam’s agro‑forestry‑fishery exports reached more than US$52 billion over the past nine months of 2025, up 14% year‑on‑year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

Farm produce led exports with US$28.5 billion, up nearly 17%. Aquatic products and wood exports also grew, reaching US$8.1 billion and US$12.5 billion, respectively. Livestock products and production inputs recorded strong increases of over 18% and 33%.
Asia remained the largest market, accounting for 44% of exports, followed by the United States (23%) and Europe (14%). Notably, exports to Europe surged over 40%, and shipments to Africa nearly doubled. The United States, China, and Japan ranked as the top three destinations, with growth between 9% and 24%.
Coffee exports topped nearly US$7 billion, up more than 60%, driven by a 45% rise in average prices to over US$5,600 per ton. Germany, Italy, and Spain were the leading importers. Cashew nut exports rose 19% to nearly US$3.8 billion, while fruit and vegetable shipments reached US$6.2 billion despite a drop in exports to China; exports to the United States and Malaysia jumped significantly.
Rice exports totalled 7 million tons, generating US$3.55 billion, stable in volume but down 18.5% in value year‑on‑year. Imports of agro‑forestry‑fishery products rose 12.5% to US$36.3 billion, mainly from Asia and America.
Exporters expect the sector to hit a new record this year, though challenges remain from falling rice prices and rising raw material costs.
