Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on June 29 asked the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) to continue supporting Vietnam’s green transition, especially by soon providing financial assistance for 15 green transition projects worth over US$20 billion.

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong on November 8 expressed his wish that the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) will support the southern largest economic hub in providing finance for Japanese and Vietnamese businesses to roll out projects aiming to promote green growth and circular economy, towards net zero emissions.

An exhibition titled ‘Nordic Sustainable Cities’ showcasing successful green projects in Denmark and other Nordic countries has been open to the public in Hanoi to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark.
