Vietnam secures two spots in AFC Champions League Two

VOV.VN - National Cup champions Hanoi Police FC and V-League champions Nam Dinh Green Steel FC will represent Vietnam in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League Two.

Hanoi Police thrashed Song Lam Nghe An 5-0 on June 29 in the National Cup, thereby securing a spot in the AFC Champions League Two for the 2025–2026 season. This marks the first time in the club’s history that they will compete in the continental tournament.

Earlier, Nam Dinh became the first Vietnamese club to qualify for the AFC Champions League Two next season after clinching the 2024–2025 V.League 1 title.

Both clubs have earned direct entry into the group stage of the competition, highlighting a historic moment for Vietnamese football on the regional stage.

Notably, in the upcoming 2025–2026 season, both Nam Dinh and Hanoi Police will participate in five major tournaments, namely the V.League 1, National Cup, National Super Cup, ASEAN Club Championship, and the AFC Champions League Two.
