VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Dac Thanh worked with a delegation from the northern province of Bac Ninh led by Tran Huy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin on May 23 to discuss investment cooperation and business connectivity between Bac Ninh and German partners.

German businesses in Vietnam have maintained optimism and a long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market despite facing numerous challenges, experts said.

A delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE), led by Deputy Minister Tran Thanh Nam, paid a five-day working visit to Germany from May 14–18 to explore cooperation opportunities in the agricultural sector.

In the context of the complicated global political and economic situation, German businesses affirm that Vietnam is a top reliable partner, according to an event recently organised by the German Association for Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (BVMW).

The German Business Association (GBA) in Vietnam has recently announced its focus on sustainable investments for 2025, with an emphasis on industries such as renewable energy, digital transformation, and high-tech manufacturing.

German enterprises are particularly interested in expanding investment cooperation with Binh Duong province, Urs Unkauf, Federal Managing Director of the Global Economic Network under the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA), said at a working session with leaders of the southern province of Binh Duong on April 16.

A Germany – Vietnam business forum, themed “Collaborative pathways to green growth in Ho Chi Minh City”, took place in Ho Chi Minh City on March 28.

Leaders of the southern province of Binh Duong, a magnet for foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam, had a meeting with representatives from the German Business Association (GBA) in Vietnam on March 19 to seek ways to expand investment connectivity with nearly 400 German enterprises.

Nam Dinh province will create favourable conditions for German businesses to invest in the locality, said Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Gia Tuc.
