Foreign sailor rescued for emergency medical treatment in Vietnam
VOV.VN -The Naval Region 4 Command on May 19 successfully brought ashore a foreign sailor for emergency medical treatment after he experienced a severe stomachache at sea.
The incident occurred at 10:00 P.M. on May 16, when the medium-sized marine tanker Pechenga of theRussian naval fleet, en route home following an official visit to Da Nang, issued a distress call. A crew member, Saipulaev Daigim Aduevich, was suffering from intense abdominal pain and required emergency care.
Receiving the request, Ship 471 from Naval Region 4, which was operating nearby, quickly responded and transported the sailor to shore.
At dawn on May 19, the vessel docked, where an ambulance and a military medical team were already on standby to receive and provide immediate treatment to the patient.
