VOV.VN - Vietnam and France have agreed to share experience in the COVID-19 pandemic fight, and help each other with COVID-19 vaccines.

The National Assembly of Vietnam shared its experience in responding to negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and maintaining its operation during the Meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie (APF)’s Parliamentary Affairs Committee on May 31.

The Presidents of Vietnam and France underlined the importance of further strengthening the cooperative framework between the two countries to respond to global issues and regional challenges, during their phone talks on May 11.

Vietnam has been very successful in connecting ASEAN with the UN Security Council (UNSC), Ambassador Nathalie Estival-Broadhurst, Deputy Permanent Representative of France to the UN, said while talking about Vietnam’s performance as a non-permanent member of the UNSC in 2020.
