Vietnam's top leaders sent messages of sympathy to their Lao counterparts on September 19, following reports of severe flooding and landslides ravaging Lao localities.

VOV.VN - There is a high risk of flash floods and landslides occuring in the coastal areas of localities from Nghe An to Quang Nam as a tropical depression strengthened into a storm on September 19 to become the fourth storm to hit the East Sea this year, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
