Policymakers and experts recently gathered in a meeting to seek solutions to deal with difficulties in transporting farm produce and goods to border gates and between provinces amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vietnamese farm produce, mostly fruits and vegetables, dried food, aquatic products and beverages, were introduced during the Vietnam – Japan trade teleconference on June 2.

Vietnam raked in US$22.83 billion from exporting agro-forestry-aquatic products in the first five months of 2021, representing a year-on-year increase of 30.3%, reported the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
