VOV.VN - The Vietnam Recreational and Electronic Sport Association (VIRESA) has launched University Esports Championship (UEC) 2021 with the aim of seeking Vietnamese competitors to represent the country in future international events.

VOV.VN - Vietnam is set to host annual national e-sports tournaments starting from this year, said the Vietnam Recreational E-sport Association (VIRESA) during a ceremony held in Hanoi on January 13 to launch a white book on local e-sports.

VOV.VN - A countdown ceremony will be held on November 15 in Hanoi in order to mark the country hosting the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) and the 11th ASEAN Para Games in 2021.

Host Vietnam has decided to include triathlon, bowling, jiu jitsu, and esport in next year’s SEA Games.

Two individuals and a team will represent Vietnam in the regional rounds of the 12th edition of the Esports World Championship in October.
