VOV.VN - Cultural diplomacy has been a success for Vietnam on its way to global integration.

After a year implementing the strategy on cultural diplomacy to 2030, Vietnam has achieved marked results in the field, helping promote its relations with other countries across all channels of the Party, Government, National Assembly, and people, affirmed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc.

A lot of cultural exchange activities have been held in both Vietnam and France, contributing importantly to bringing the two countries’ people closer.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand considers economic diplomacy a main pillar among its tasks, together with political diplomacy, cultural diplomacy and overseas Vietnamese affairs, Ambassador Phan Chi Thanh has said.

September 8 will become an annual day for honouring the Vietnamese language under a decision signed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the approval of a project to honour it among the Vietnamese community abroad in the 2023-2030 period.

The Foreign Ministry held a conference in Hanoi on December 20 in both online and offline formats to popularise the content of a cultural diplomacy strategy till 2030 which was promulgated by the Prime Minister on November 30, 2021.
