Grammy-winning Secret Garden to perform in Vietnam for first time
VOV.VN - Irish-Norwegian duo Secret Garden will make their debut in Vietnam at the National Convention Center in Hanoi on October 18, as part of the international music project Good Morning Vietnam, jointly organized by Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and IB Group.

At a Hanoi announcement ceremony on September 19, Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilisation, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists' Association, said that the invitation of Secret Garden contributes to the mission of bringing international art closer to Vietnamese audiences while promoting the country’s image and supporting charitable initiatives.
He highlighted that the concert will offer the public a chance to enjoy timeless melodies while spreading cultural and humanitarian values.
Within the framework of Good Morning Vietnam, two previous concerts, Kenny G Live in Vietnam and Bond Live in Vietnam, were successfully held in 2023 and 2024, with all proceeds donated to support those affected by disasters.
Secret Garden, an Irish-Norwegian musical duo led by composer Rolf Løvland and violinist Fionnuala Sherry, is renowned for blending classical, folk, and pop music. The group won a Grammy Award for Best New Age Album in 1996 and has received several other nominations, including two World Music Awards in 1998 and 1999.
The upcoming concert, Secret Garden Live in Vietnam, continues the project’s “music for the community” series, giving audiences the opportunity to experience firsthand the melodies that have captivated millions of music lovers worldwide over the past 30 years.
