U2U Network, a Layer-1 blockchain platform developed by Vietnamese engineers, has secured a listing on Kraken, one of the world's most selective cryptocurrency exchanges, with trading set to commence on October 17.

Blockchain, which helps store information transparently between parties and can’t be faked, is considered an effective tool for the development of international trade as well as the digital economy.

The Ministry of Information and Communications, on August 13, held a ceremony to debut the akaChain blockchain platform, as part of a programme introducing “Make in Vietnam” digital platforms.
