The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has recently issued a document requesting the aviation sector to enhance COVID-19 prevention measures before, during and after the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Do Minh Hung has come together with Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi to sign a Protocol that amends the Air Transport Agreement, in an effort to bolster co-operation in the aviation sector, including a plan to open direct flights to promote trade and tourism between the two countries.

New carrier Bamboo Airways has been licensed by the US Department of Transportation to carry passengers and cargo between Vietnam and the US, its representative said on November 10.

From now to the end of August 2020, the aviation sector will continue working with diplomatic and military agencies to conduct 50 more flights to bring over 13,000 Vietnamese citizens home, according to head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
