Special Envoy of the Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien had a working session with US Trade Representative Jamieson L. Greer on March 13 to advance bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

VOV.VN - As the US undergoes a power transition, the future of Vietnam-US trade cooperation remains full of opportunities and challenges, as discussed at a seminar on January 8 co-hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), the US-Vietnam Business Council, and the Institute for Vietnam Initiatives (IVI).

The economic and trade mechanisms between Vietnam and the US have shown efficiency throughout 2024, according to Do Ngoc Hung, trade counsellor and head of the Vietnam Trade Office in the American country.

A seminar discussing solutions to energy, industry, and trade between Vietnam and the US was held in Washington on November 15 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) in collaboration with the Vietnamese Embassy in the US, attracting crowds of overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs, intellectuals, and scientists working in the areas.

The Ho Chi Minh City Association of Mechanical – Electrical Enterprises (HAMEE), in collaboration with the Vietnam Trade Office in the US and the Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), recently organised a Vietnam-US trade promotion forum on smart technology.

A US trade delegation of 100 participants, including 35 business representatives and officials from the departments of agriculture of nine states, is visiting Vietnam to explore cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
