Aero-K launches direct air service between Cheongju and Khanh Hoa
VOV.VN - Carrier Aero-K of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on November 16 announced the launching of a new direct air route linking RoK’s Chungbuk province with the southcentral province of Khanh Hoa in an effort to meet growing demand among travelers between the two countries.
The carrier revealed that its inaugural flight on November 14 achieved an impressive passenger occupancy rate of up to 99%, indicating significant travel demand from tourists in the RoK’s central region.
Aero-K is expected to regularly operate the Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa)- Cheongju city (Chungbuk province) route with a frequency of one flight a week. The flights will depart from Cheongju International Aiport at 19:30 before arriving at Cam Ranh International Airport at 22:30 (local time).
This marks the second air route launched by Aero-K to connect the RoK and Vietnam. Previously, the airline opened direct flights from Da Nang to Cheongju in 2024.
Founded in 2016, the low-cost airline is currently operating flights to Vietnam, Mongolia, Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines.
