Vietnam leaves deep impression at the 2025 International Charity Bazaar

VOV.VN - The Vietnam pavilion stood out as a major highlight at the 2025 International Charity Bazaar, drawing large crowds to the annual cultural and humanitarian event held on November 16 in Prague, the Czech Republic.

This year, Vietnam showcased a wide range of distinctive products, including Trung Nguyen coffee, exquisite handicrafts rich in Vietnamese cultural identity, and traditional dishes such as fresh and fried spring rolls and fried cakes.

Beyond the exhibition, the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic made a vibrant cultural impact with artistic performances. A conical-hat dance performed in elegant Áo dài (traditional Vietnamese long dress), accompanied by the flags of Vietnam and the Czech Republic, and a rendition of “Hello Vietnam” by the Vietnamese Women’s Association in the Czech Republic, captivated the audience and earned enthusiastic applause.

Adrijana Balut, vice president of the Diplomatic Spouses’ Association (DSA), highlighted the spirit of the bazaar as a celebration of solidarity, generosity, and hope, emphasising that every visitor, purchase, and ticket directly supports those in need.

Among the 55 participating countries, Vietnam ranked sixth in total contributions, donating CKZ54,500 (US$2,617).

This year’s bazaar, held under the patronage of Czech First Lady Eva Pavlová, attracted around 3,000 visitors and raised more than CKZ1.7 million, which is expected to be allocated to 23 charitable organisationsacross the Czech Republic.

The event is not only a multicultural event but also a vivid testament to the power of compassion and community spirit, where even the smallest actions can create meaningful change.

Through its enthusiastic, creative, and heartfelt participation, Vietnam once again affirmed its cultural presence and spirit of solidarity on the international stage.
