A delegation from China Railway No. 2 Group has expressed interest in resuming the long-dormant Da Lat - Thap Cham railway line project and expanding international flights from Lien Khuong airport to several Asian countries.

Vietjet has announced that it will operate the first direct route connecting the resort city of Da Lat in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong with Busan, the largest coastal city of the Republic of Korea, in July.
