The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said the city's tourism industry has continued to record impressive growth in February in both the number of visitors and tourism revenue.

VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City, the most populous city and largest financial hub in Vietnam, welcomed approximately six million foreign tourists over the past 11 months, up 20% year on year, thus meeting the target set for this year.

VOV.VN - The number of foreign tourists to Hanoi during the seven months of this year reached 3.43 million, an increase of 42.5% compared to the same period from 2023, the municipal Department of Tourism reported.

VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City welcomed nearly 2.7 million foreign tourists during the first six months of the year, representing a year on year rise of 38% and meeting 44.6% of this year’s target, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.

Senior tourism is described as a potential market segment in Vietnam, especially for domestic tours.

Vietnam was unable to meet its goal of welcoming five million international tourists in 2022.

VOV.VN - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) plans to set a target of welcoming eight million foreign visitors and 102 million domestic tourists next year, earning an estimated revenue of VND650,000 billion in the process.

VOV.VN - During the initial five months of this year,  Ho  Chi Minh City welcomed a total of 8.97 million domestic visitors and 262,090 foreign arrivals, with total tourism revenue reaching VND39.5 trillion, equivalent to US$1.691 million, an increase of 9.8% on-year.

Hanoi welcomed 700,000 domestic tourists and 31,448 foreigners who visited or participated in events of the recently concluded SEA Games 31, the municipal Department of Tourism announced on May 24.

VOV.VN - Hanoi capital welcomed a total of 2.8 million domestic tourists in the first quarter of the year, a rise of 45.3% compared to the same period last year, according to details given by the municipal Tourism Department.
