Digital payments provider Visa recently announced a new partnership with three of the most popular e-wallets in Vietnam - MoMo, VNPAY and ZaloPay - to provide a more convenient payment experience for Visa cardholders at participating small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The modern e-wallet market in Vietnam is surging and is expected to reach 50 million active users by July 2024, experts said.

The total value of cashless transactions jumped six times in the first half this year against the same period of 2019.
