VOV.VN - Despite sharp declines in traditional markets such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia, Vietnam sustained its stable rice export volume in the first nine months of 2025, thanks to strong growth in newer markets across Africa, China, and South Asia.
VOV.VN - Vietnam exported nearly 8.5 million tonnes of rice worth US$5.31 billion over the past 11 months, up 10.6% in volume and 22.4% in value compared to the same period from last year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has reported.

Although Vietnamese rice has been exported to 150 countries and territories, markets for the product are mainly Asian countries and thus need to be diversified, according to experts.
In order to take advantage of FTAs and increase the Vietnamese rice export market share at more competitive prices, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with ministries, branches and the Vietnam Food Association to help businesses effectively implement the deals and make the most of markets such as the RoK and the EU.
