British University Vietnam ranks among top 43 institutions in Asia
VOV.VN - For the first time, Vietnam has earned a place in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global MBA Rankings 2026, with British University Vietnam (BUV) placing 43rd in Asia.

BUV also ranks first among Vietnamese universities and is positioned within the global 251–300 range for MBA programmes.
The QS rankings are determined through independent surveys involving employers, academics, and universities, evaluating programmes across five key criteria - Return on Investment, Diversity, Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes, Employability, and Thought Leadership.
BUV excelled notably in Diversity, Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes, and Return on Investment. This achievement reflects widespread recognition, as QS’s evaluation draws on feedback from over 50,000 CEOs, executives, and board members from leading global corporations including Apple, Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, and JPMorgan Chase.
With a strong network of over 500 partner enterprises, including top multinational corporations and Vietnam’s largest companies, BUV provides students with direct access to senior leaders and industry experts. Many MBA students have been promoted to senior management positions at organisations such as Heineken, KPMG, and PwC during or soon after their studies.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for BUV in elevating the global standing of Vietnam’s higher education. It actively contributes to the Government’s goal of positioning Vietnam as a new international education hub in Southeast Asia, while helping develop a high-quality workforce for both Vietnam and the world.
In 2022, BUV was officially certified as the first university in Vietnam to be awarded a 5-star overall rating from QS, cementing its position as a pioneer in the higher education sector. Specifically, the university was awarded 5 stars on the following criteria - Teaching, Employability, Academic Development, Facilities, Social Responsibilities, and Inclusiveness.
Furthermore, the Finance and Economics programme of BUV was also honoured to receive a 5-star validation from QS for the criterium of Programme Strength.
