Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his entourage arrived in Hanoi on October 11, concluding their four-day working trip to attend the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and related meetings in Vientiane, Laos.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leading a high-level delegation of Vietnam, participated in the 19th East Asia Summit (EAS) and 14th ASEAN-United Nations Summit in Vientiane on October 11 – the final day of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and related events.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to continue supporting Vietnam in mobilising resources to implement large-scaled projects such as the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong and Lang Son - Hanoi standard-gauge railway ones during a reception for AIIB President Jin Liqun in Vientiane on October 10.
