The number of newly registered enterprises set a record high in June, surpassing 24,000, more than double the average during the 2021–2024 period, according to the Department of Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance.

The first months of 2025 have seen increases in both new business registrations and firms returning to the market, Deputy Finance Minister Tran Quoc Phuong said at the Government’s regular press briefing for April on May 6.
