Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called on the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association in the Kansai region to further boost cooperation in science, technology, and quality workforce training through strengthening connectivity between the region's universities, research institutes with Vietnamese counterparts.

The Vietnam Pavilion has won the silver award in the Exhibition Design category at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai in Japan, marking the first time the country has received this honour, according to the Department of International Cooperation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
