After the concert, numerous backstage and on-stage photos and videos quickly spread across social media, generating excitement among Vietnamese fans.

During the show held in 8Wonder Ocean City – Vinhomes Ocean Park 3, G-Dragon expressed his joy at seeing Vietnamese fans again after nearly half a year since his previous performance in Hanoi in June.

“It’s been a long time! We’ve waited so long, but finally G-Dragon is here. This is truly special.”

He performed popular hits including POWER, Home Sweet Home, Crooked, and Heartbreaker, while playful backstage moments and enthusiastic interactions with fans were widely shared online, with some clips reaching hundreds of thousands of views. Fans repeatedly chanted his nickname, “Anh Long,” a unique fanchant that delighted G-Dragon.

During interludes, tens of thousands of fans sang the opening melody of Bang Bang Bang in unison, and G-Dragon’s mention of Big Bang’s 20th anniversary sparked excitement, making fans hopeful for the group’s comeback.

The encore featured a memorable moment as G-Dragon rode a vehicle around the stage, passing through different sections of the audience, creating an intimate and immersive experience. After the show, he quickly re-shared fan stories on his personal account, which has over 24 million followers.

Born in 1988, G-Dragon is the leader of Big Bang, one of Republic of Korea’s top music groups and pioneers of the hip-hop genre, known for hits like Haru Haru, Bang Bang Bang, and Fantastic Baby. Beyond the group, he has enjoyed a highly successful solo career and is recognised as a fashion icon.

Previously, in June, G-Dragon performed at My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi under heavy rain, delivering a full-energy performance that received high praise from Korean media. His Hung Yen concert reaffirmed his enduring appeal and undeniable talent as a performer.

The Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur is scheduled to have another performance night on November 9, also in Hung Yen.
