VOV.VN - The Vietnam Air Force - Air Defense Force on November 1 dispatched a helicopter to deliver emergency supplies to approximately 3,000 local residents of two communes in Quang Nam completely isolated by flashfloods and landslides.

VOV.VN - Helicopters are set to be deployed to drop daily necessities in Phuoc Thanh and Phuoc Loc communes of Quang Nam province, where approximately 3,000 local residents have been left cut off by flooding and landslides in recent days.

VOV.VN - Two military helicopters and crew members were mobilised at Phu Bai airport on October 14 as they attempt to rescue 30 missing people, including 13 members of a rescue team and 17 stranded workers, from a landslide which has hit Rao Trang 3 Hydropower Plant in the central province of Thua Thien Hue.

With the permission of the Vietnamese Prime Minister, three vessels of the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force docked at Cam Ranh international port, the central province of Khanh Hoa, for technical activities on October 10 and 11.
