A series of major corporation have proposed to build urban railway lines in Ho Chi Minh City, helping the city complete a metro network of more than 500km in the next two decades.

VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City has planned to break ground on Metro Line 2 from Ben Thanh market to Tham Luong Depo by the end of this year, following the recent inauguration of Metro Line 1, to expand the city's metro network .
