VOV.VN - Around 550 delegates from 33 countries and territories across Asia and beyond are expected to attend the eighth Organic Asia Congress (OAC), to be held in Ninh Binh province, Vietnam, from September 16 - 19.

Vietnam has for the 7th consecutive year made its presence at the world's leading trade fair for organic food, Biofach, in Nuremberg city of Germany's southern Bavaria state.

With the strong development of organic farming, Vietnam has extensive opportunities to boost the export of organic agricultural products to Europe, where those products are in high demand and fetch top dollar.

Vietnam is paying attention to mobilising resources to invest in developing green agriculture with an aim to raising the market share of its agricultural exports to the European Union.

Organic production can help Vietnam deal with the skyrocketing prices of food, fuels and fertilisers caused by the recent turbulence in different parts of the world, according to Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolai Prytz.
