Hue to host Vietnam – RoK Cultural Day 2025 in late September
VOV.VN - The Hue City People’s Committee, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (RoK) in Vietnam, will host the “Vietnam – RoK Cultural Day 2025” on September 27–28 to promote cultural exchanges and friendship between the two countries, according to the Hue City Department of Culture and Sports.

The event will take place at No 23-25 Le Loi Street, Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street, and the Lim Wooden Bridge along the banks of the Perfume River.
This important cultural diplomacy activity aims to further strengthen Vietnam–RoK friendship while reaffirming Hue’s determination to expand international exchanges and its role as a cultural and tourism hub of the country.
As part of the festivities, around 100 booths will be set up to introduce the culture, tourism, cuisine, and signature products of both countries. Visitors will have the chance to try on the Korean traditional costume - Hanbok, participate in Korean folk games, enjoy traditional dishes, and explore local handicrafts, One Commune, One Product (OCOP) products, Hue’s iconic Ao Dai (Vietnam’s traditional long dress), and exhibits from traditional craft villages.
A diverse lineup of cultural performances will add vibrancy to the event. In addition to Nha Nhac (Hue Royal Court Music), recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, audiences can enjoy traditional Korean performances, alongside the dynamic energy of K-pop, V-pop, and Random Dance showcases. The performances will feature the RoK’s Uhee art troupe as well as Vietnamese artists and artisans, creating a lively cultural exchange that blends tradition with modern global trends.
According to the Hue Department of Culture and Sports, the cultural days will not only serve as a platform to promote the heritage and identity of both countries but also act as a meaningful people-to-people diplomacy event. It will allow Hue to showcase its new status as a centrally governed city while laying the groundwork for practical cooperation in culture, tourism, trade, and the creative industries.
