The transformation of Vietnam over the past eight decades is a testament to the nation’s strength and determination, British officials said at a celebration in London marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day and the 15th anniversary of the Vietnam – UK Strategic Partnership.

“Vietnam in the contemporary world: transformation and adaptation” was the topic of the sixth international conference on Vietnamese studies held by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under the Vietnam National University-HCM City, on December 10.
