Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man received Secretary-General of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, in Hanoi on August 25.

Vietnam has made significant contributions to the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) in general and the 44th AIPA General Assembly in particular, AIPA Secretary General Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman has affirmed.

The 42nd General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-42) is a proof of cohesiveness and responsiveness of AIPA to overcome challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic and promote cooperation and development of the ASEAN Community, said AIPA Secretary General Nguyen Tuong Van.

The Vietnamese National Assembly has taken timely actions and joined hands with other members of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) to contribute to handling emerging issues in the region, said AIPA Secretary General Nguyen Tuong Van.
