The two-day event has drawn over 3,500 participants, including more than 90 domestic and international speakers, alongside 500 leading hotels, restaurants, and businesses, including global brands such as Accor, IHG, and Hyatt.

This year, the exhibition boasts 80 booths, providing an opportunity for industry players to explore the latest technology trends, enhance competitiveness, and foster sustainable development in the hospitality industry.

The forum features in-depth discussions on hotel trends, MICE tourism, sustainable development strategies, workforce development, and effective restaurant management. For the first time, participants can experience cutting-edge technologies, including 4D Mapping Immersive Epson with vivid visuals, 3D Virtual Reality and MetaQuest simulations, and future hotel-restaurant modeling.

Additional innovations on display include service robots, AI facial recognition, smart check-in systems, Bose & WorkPro livestream setups, automated coffee machines, and Galaxy Pay charging stations, offering attendees groundbreaking and interactive experiences.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Nguyen Trung Khanh, director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), highlighted the event’s significance, calling it a breakthrough platform to drive innovation, collaboration, and the adoption of new technologies for sustainable industry growth.

The exhibition provides a golden opportunity for enterprises to optimise management practices, embrace new technologies, and promote sustainable development across the industry, he said.

Meanwhile, Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, emphasised the city’s strong tourism assets and modern infrastructure. Da Nang leads Vietnam with 164 four- and five-star accommodations, offering over 31,000 rooms. The city is also recognised as a top events and festival destination in Asia and ranks among the 50 most attractive cities globally.

Triet noted that HorecFex 2025 is a vital platform for sharing expertise, networking, and identifying innovative solutions to elevate service quality in the hospitality and catering industry. He affirmed the city’s commitment to supporting key economic sectors, including tourism, and creating favourable conditions for investors and businesses operating in the city.
