Vietnamese cuisine introduced at Piraeus Taste Festival, Greece
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese Embassy in Greece has set up a booth at the Piraeus Taste Festival 2025, recently held in Greece, showcasing traditional Vietnamese cuisine and dried agricultural products.

The Vietnamese booth attracted a large number of local residents and international visitors with traditional dishes such as fried spring rolls and shrimp crackers. Notably, the live demonstration of spring roll preparation and frying created a lively atmosphere, enhancing cultural interaction and experience for visitors.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Piraeus, after visiting the Vietnamese booth, expressed their deep impression and gratitude for the Embassy’s participation. They affirmed that the Vietnamese booth contributed to enriching the festival’s cultural diversity and strengthening the bond between the peoples of the two countries.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Pham Thi Thu Huong thanked the Piraeus city authorities for their support and emphasised that the festival was an opportunity not only to promote cuisine but also to connect and boost cultural, tourism, and trade exchanges between Vietnam and Greece.
The Piraeus Taste Festival 2025, the fourth of its kind held from September 25 – 28 by the Municipality of Piraeus, featured participation from seven countries, namely Greece, Moldova, Panama, Romania, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
Over four days, renowned chefs, international cuisines, local traditions, live music, cinema, and cultural activities showcased the authentic gastronomic identity of Piraeus and highlighted the city as a destination of sea flavours and creativity.
