Vietnam showcases products at World Food India 2025
VOV.VN - Vietnam continues to assert its position on the global food industry map as it is selected for the second time as a partner country at World Food India 2025 (WFI 2025), taking place in New Delhi from September 25–28.

Organised at the Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition cum Convention Centre by the Indian Ministry of Food Processing Industries, the event gathers over 1,500 companies from 108 countries. Among them, Vietnam stands out with a dedicated national pavilion covering 150 square meters, featuring 15 leading Vietnamese enterprises.
On display at the Vietnam Pavilion are hundreds of high-quality products, including coffee, milk, coconut cakes, cashew nuts, rice, and processed fruits, fruit juice, chili sauce, and organic foods, among others.
Speaking at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Vietnam Pavilion, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Nguyen Thanh Hai emphasised that participation in WFI 2025 is a chance not only to promote trade, but also to enhance the image of Vietnam and its people in the eyes of Indian and international partners.
He affirmed that the growing presence of Vietnamese businesses in India would serve as a driving force to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
The Ambassador also reiterated the commitment of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnam Trade Office in India to supporting Vietnamese companies in expanding into the Indian market.
Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counselor at the Vietnamese Embassy, highlighted the strategic importance of WFI 2025, calling it a vital platform for connecting Vietnamese enterprises in food, agriculture, and beverages with international buyers and investors.
He expressed confidence that the Vietnam Pavilion would act as an effective trade bridge, helping to broaden export opportunities and foster sustainable business partnerships between Vietnamese and Indian enterprises.
According to the organisers, World Food India 2025 spans an area of 100,000 square meters, bringing together over 1,500 enterprises and more than 800 international buyers from 108 countries. The event also welcomes nearly 2,400 international delegates and features a wide range of key activities, including the Global Food Regulators Forum, thematic panel discussions, “Buyer-Seller Meet” networking sessions, and technology and innovation showcases.
