Hanoi makes the cut on list of 10 best street food cities in Asia
VOV.VN - The capital city of Hanoi has made British magazine Time Out’s list of the 10 best street food cities in Asia for its rich culture and history coupled with brilliant food.

The capital city is home to a treasure trove of foodie finds down narrow alleys, up winding concrete stairs and on crowded street corners, the UK media outlet shared.
Time Out suggested tourists should join the lines outside Banh Mi 25 in Old Town for a barbecue pork bánh mì, hunt for a steaming bowl of northern-style phở down a dark hallway and up a winding staircase into the living room of Ms. Minh at Phở Hàng Trống, and snag a stool at Bánh Cuốn Bà Lộc for some bánh cuốn, a rice paper roll filled with minced pork and mushrooms.
If tourists eat only one thing: Bún chả, an addictive broth with grilled pork meatballs and pork belly served alongside fresh vermicelli noodles for dipping, the magazine guides tourists to head down a smoke-filled alley to Quán Bún Chả at 74 Hang Quat Street.
Malaysia's Penang has surpassed Hanoi, ranking second in Asia, and Singapore, placing the third position in the region, to be named Asia's best street food city.
Rounding off the list of 10 best street food cities in Asia is the likes of Mumbai of India, Chiang Mai and Bangkok of Thailand, Taiwan (China), Osaka of Japan, Phnom Penh of Cambodia, and Chengdu of China.
