The program is co-organized by Binh Phuoc Youth Union and the Asia Association of Exchange and Education, drawing 12 outstanding Japanese and 15 Vietnamese students along with more than 600 Binh Phuoc officials, youth and teenagers.
During the exchange, Vietnamese and Japanese youth will attend an opening ceremony, take part in an English language debate on education and poverty, present gifts to 20 pupils and 20 disadvantaged people, and organize classes and playgrounds for local children. They will also get to experience the warm welcome of homestays in local houses in Bu Dang district and immerse themselves in the culture of ethnic minority people in Binh Phuoc province.
The event aims to engage the youth of both countries in learning about their respective youth activities, cultures and histories, while improving international communicability and demonstrating their personal roles in enhancing bilateral ties of friendship.
At the opening ceremony, the president of the Asia Association of Exchange and Education, Professor Akinori Seki of Keizai Univeristy, sent his sincere thanks to local authorities for facilitating the two countries’ students in organizing the exchange, helping to tighten the sound traditional ties of friendship between the two countries.
