800 firms to join Vietnam’s largest MICE tourism event
VOV.VN - Up to 800 firms will take part in the MICE Expo 2025 in Hanoi on September 26, aiming to explore cooperative opportunities and strategize the development of Vietnam's MICE tourism sector and the broader tourism industry.
The event will be co-organised by the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) and the Vietnam MICE Association (VMA).
Aimed at positioning Vietnam’s MICE tourism on the global map, the event is expected to serve as a key platform for businesses to assess existing challenges and accelerate the growth of the local MICE sector in a professional, effective, and sustainable manner. This is in line with the tourism industry's broader goals of green and digital transformation.
Luu An Hoa, General Secretary of the Vietnam MICE Tourism Association, noted that the scale of this year’s event will grow by 30% compared to 2024, featuring the participation of around 800 businesses and up to 1,500 delegates.
A key highlight will be a forum focused on the application of technology and the vital role of cultural heritage in advancing MICE tourism.
In addition, a “Business Matching B2B” programme will connect 150 suppliers with 1,500 buyers from the tourism sector, providing an opportunity to update participants on the latest tourism products and services while promoting potential partnerships.
