VOV.VN - Starting from July 1, 2025, the two-tier local government model comprising the provincial and communal administrative levels and eliminating the intermediate district level will be officially implemented nationwide, marking a significant milestone in Vietnam’s administrative reform and decentralisation of state management.

VOV.VN - A representative from the Ministry of Public Security (MoPS) has said that MoPS has proposed merging the 2015 Law on Cyber Information Security and the 2018 Cybersecurity Law into a single piece of legislation.

The Mineral and Geology Law, passed by the 15th National Assembly at its 8th session, will take effect on July 1, 2025. This law is expected to provide a legal framework, enhance the efficiency of State management over mineral resources, and promote geological surveys of minerals and the mining industry.

The Government earned over VND149 billion (US$5.93 million) from capital divestment at four State-owned enterprises during January – July, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said on August 12.
