Vietnam’s economic growth this year is projected at nearly 8%, up 1.5-2% from the initial target, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh while delivering the 2022 socio-economic performance report and 2023 socio-economic development plan at the 14th National Assembly’s fourth session in Hanoi on October 20.

The Politburo listened to the Party delegation to the Government’s reports on the 2021 socio-economic performance, the 2022 socio-economic development plan, the 2021 State budget, the 2022-2024 finance-State budget plan, and the time for salary reform, during a meeting in Hanoi on September 17.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September 6 chaired a regular Government meeting, focusing on socio-economic performance in August and the first eight months of this year.
