Lam Dong hosts Malaysian Halal tourism delegation for networking programme
VOV.VN - Lam Dong provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism welcomed a key Halal tourism delegation from Malaysia on November 5, with the launch of a program on networking and tourism development between the central highland province and Malaysian partners in 2025.
During their four-day visit, the delegation, including representatives from the Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) and Malaysian travel agencies, surveyed tourism products and services suitable for the Halal market, focusing on Da Lat city in Lam Dong and Phan Thiet city in southcentral Vietnam.
According to the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the visit aims to promote the province’s cultural identity and highlight key tourism products and services to Malaysian partners in the Halal tourism market.
The program also seeks to strengthen marketing, boost international cooperation, and expand tourism routes. It provides opportunities for local tourism businesses to meet, exchange ideas, and build connections for bringing international visitors to Lam Dong.
