Vietnam considers Intel Corporation a long-term strategic partner in developing the country’s semiconductor industry, said Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang.

Although still at an early stage of development, Vietnam’s semiconductor industry has recorded notable progress thanks to the concerted engagement of the entire political system, driven by strategic policies on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Vietnam is stepping up efforts to develop its semiconductor industry through cooperation with ASML, the world’s leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer from the Netherlands, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

Developing high-quality human resources is the decisive factor for Vietnam to successfully build its semiconductor industry.
