Nearly 1,500 household businesses officially transitioned into registered enterprises in the first half of 2025, with 910 making the switch in June alone, accounting for almost two-thirds of the total.
The number of newly registered enterprises set a record high in June, surpassing 24,000, more than double the average during the 2021–2024 period, according to the Department of Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance.
There were 76,233 newly-registered enterprises in the first six months of this year, an increase of 13.6% compared to the same period last year.
