The Vietnam Red Cross Society has launched an emergency relief operation to support residents in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Quang Ngai provinces, severely impacted by Typhoon Kalmaegi and its aftermath.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) has launched an emergency relief campaign to support residents suffering from prolonged heavy rain and flooding in Da Nang, Hue, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, and Lam Dong in the central region.

The Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) Central Committee reported that as of October 16, its fundraising programme “65 Years of Vietnam–Cuba Solidarity” had collected more than VND537.7 billion (over US$20.41 million) in support of the Cuban people.
