Vietnam and Ireland have issued a 17-point joint statement on the strengthening of bilateral partnership, on the occasion of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam’s state visit to the European country from October 1-3.

The 14th Vietnam-India defence policy dialogue was held in New Delhi on August 1, during which the two sides committed to enhancing cooperation in various areas.

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on May 29 handed over the State President’s decisions to deploy two officers to the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA).

VOV.VN - The Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations (VDPO) under the Ministry of National Defence held a ceremony on May 27 in Hanoi to mark the 10th anniversary of its traditional day (May 27, 2014 - 2024) and receive the third-class Fatherland Protection Order.

VOV.VN -To date Vietnam has sent more than 800 officers to three UN peacekeeping missions and the UN Headquarters.

Vietnamese peacekeeping forces are developing strongly, contributing to affirming Vietnam’s role in the world arena and demonstrating Vietnam’s efforts and commitments to joining UN peacekeeping operations and building global peace and security.
