Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung on November 25 received Yamamoto Ichita, Governor of Japan’s Gunma prefecture, who is in Vietnam to attend the first Vietnam–Japan Local Cooperation Forum.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception in Hanoi on October 14 for visiting Governor of Gunma prefecture Yamamoto Ichita and representatives of 25 businesses from the Japanese locality.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to locality-to-locality cooperation with Japan while receiving Governor of Japan’s Gunma prefecture Yamamoto Ichita in Hanoi on August 3.
