VOV.VN - Vietnam earned nearly US$2.1 billion from durian exports between January and October 2023, a record high figure, thanks to China’s rising purchasing power, according to the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetables Association (Vinafruit).

Vietnamese durian exports to the UK have increased due to high demand for this fruit and the advantages of the UK-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA).

The value of Vietnam’s durian export in the first nine months of 2023 reached US$1.63 billion, 14 times higher than the figure of the same period last year, according to statistic of the General Department of Customs.
